European Office

The European Office of the Board of Education for Vienna implements numerous initiatives to deepen the European dimension in Viennese schools and has been the first the point of contact for EU-funded education projects in Vienna since 1997.
The core competences include:

• Initiation, planning and implementation of EU-funded projects
• Development of school initiatives in the context of various projects
• International contacts and public relations

The main focus of the projects of the European Office is the development and strengthening of the European key competences. These competences are particularly needed for personal growth and development as well as for social integration in society and working life.
