FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
My micro:bit is not detected
Check if your connection cable is a data cable.
Charging cables like the ones you know from smartphones (which are usually thinner) can only supply the microbit with power but cannot connect to the computer.
My micro:bit does not appear in the Bluetooth devices list
If a reset (button on the back of the micro:bit) and a search on the computer for new devices does not succeed (switching the Bluetooth function off and on again on the computer can sometimes help), simply drag and drop the following hex file Hex-File onto the microbit drive on the computer.
