Final event

Excursion
After more than two years of Covid-19 restrictions, it was a great pleasure to welcome students from the Czech Republic to Vienna – ahoy!
On May 24, 2022, a group of students and teachers from Přibyslav visited Vienna for a cross-border excursion. After a welcome at Rathausplatz and a joint lunch in the Jungle Café in the Museumsquartier, the project partners of the Vienna Business Agency organized an interactive and playful workshop on the topics of analogue and digital coding as well as creativity and prototyping. After the workshop there was a sightseeing tour with a hop on hop off bus through the city center of Vienna.

Workshop “ICT and digital approaches at schools” in Telč
Austrian and Czech teachers from schools with a computer science focus took part in a cross-border workshop on “ICT and digital approaches at schools” led by Ing. Markéta Metelková from Vysočina Education in the branch office of Masaryk University in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Telč. took part. In addition to a theoretical examination of the focus on digitization in schools in Austria and the Czech Republic, the participating educators were also able to discuss methodologies and exchange their different experiences in practice.

DigiMe on Europe Day
On the occasion of Europe Day on May 7th, a varied program on the subject of Europe took place in Vienna. The DigiMe project was represented at the information stand of the European Office of the Education Directorate for Vienna and visitors had the opportunity to find out more about the project.
