Vienna Business Agency

The Vienna Business Agency is the first point of contact for local and international companies in Vienna. They support companies by providing funding, real estate, advice and networking services. Furthermore, the Vienna Business Agency takes part in various activities to make research more visible and tangible in everyday life. The aim is to inform the public of new technologies and research achievements and, in particular, to get the young generation interested in research, innovation and technology.
In the DigiMe project, workshops for school classes are carried out in order to show young people in the phase of vocational orientation specific occupational opportunities in the growing IT sector. A special emphasis is placed on making the IT sector more attractive to girls by presenting them with suitable role models and an attracting workshop programme.
